FAQ

What are eyelash extensions?

Extensions are life changing. If you use lash curler or mascara every morning, or if you simply want a fuller look on your eyes, extensions are the way you go!

Once upon a time, real mink was used. However, since it usually causes allergic reaction and the shape of curl is quickly lost, it is no longer used. So we use vegan extensions!

They are made by PPT (polybutylene terephthalate). They are extensions named silk, mink, sable, and they are just named like that because of the texture and feel.

How many types of techniques are there?

There are three types of techniques.

1 Classic: One extension is applied to your one natural lash. Most healthiest, natural way.

2 Hybrid: It’s a mix of classic and volume.

3 Volume: Between 2 to 8 extensions (like a tub) are fanned out and applied to you one natural lash. This is the great solution if you want dramatic eyes. I would say Kim Kardashian is the look of volume lashes.

What we do is “classic”. The beauty of classic is that we can make either natural look or gorgeous look. As we use super light weight extensions, they don’t damage your natural lashes. Why do we only do classic? Because, most importantly, we care about creating a beautiful look and healthy lashes more than damaging your own lashes .

How long do they last?

Lash Extensions usually last about 4 weeks. Eventually, they fall off little by little depending on your lash growth circle. Retention is a teamwork between you and your technician. Home care is also an important factor.

Tip: Extensions are weak by heat and water. If you use sauna, oven, and pool etc you may expect loosing extensions a bit faster.

What about allergies?

“Some” people may be allergic to one or some of the ingredients of the glue. That is why we use additive free, latex free, toluene free glue which doesn’t contain dangerous substances, and it is 100% made in Japan.

If you have allergic reaction, it should appear within 48 hours after your session. Contact me immediately so that I can remove them free of charge.

Can I wash my lashes?

Please wash them with lash cleanser. I tell all of you, Clean your lashes before getting extensions! Eyelashes are made as a barrier that prevents dirt, dust, water from getting into your eyes. So your lashes always catch them on your lashes. Lash cleansers cleanse lash mites, dirt, oil, old skin. Some says “ I’m using a lash serum but it doesn’t work!” I say.. serum doesn’t penetrate on dirty lashes. Think like this, when you use face serum, you clean your face first, that is what I mean. Having clean lashes is must to keep longer healthy extensions!

Does it hurt during procedure?

Nope. Unless you are allergic or open your eyes or move a lot during procedure. You can totally relax and even go to sleep during the time with me. It is a completely safe procedure.

Extensions fell off with my natural lash! Am I loosing my natural lashes due to extensions?

Nope. We apply an extension to your one natural lash, which means when the natural lash falls off, the extension is attached. It is just a lash growth cycle. Every natural lash has its own growth cycle. There are three phases. 1- Growth , 2- Degradation phase and Resting phase . After the resting phase, the lash falls off naturally and the new cycle begins with again with a new lash in growth. Each cycle lasts about 3 months. So, if you see your own lash fallen, it should be the one in Resting phase. It is normal, don’t worry.

Do they damage my natural lashes?

Extensions will not damage your lashes or cause you to loose your natural lashes because of them. If your natural lashes are damaged then your technician did not choose the right thickness and lengths for you. Our customized service addresses that.

Lash Tint

Lash tint lasts about 3 to 4 weeks.

PLUMP LASH LFIT

(Keratin lash lift)

It averagely lasts about a month to two months depending on a person. The difference between lash lift at other salons in America and our lash lift is that I use different type perm cream and we add an extra technique in the procedure. Most salons use thioglycolic perm cream which causes more hair (lashes) damage. On the other hand, perm cream of plump lash lift uses cysteamine-based perm cream which causes less hair damage or cosmetic registered thio perm cream.

Results could be different from what you expect due to your lash condition.
